Rautaruukki's wall- and coating products object library is now available for testing. Constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated, please, send it to vr@mad.fi.

Rautaruukki's wall- and coating profiles and panels are available as wall- and roof accessory objects, as well as flashing objects. The wall- and roof accessory is joined to a wall or a roof by activating the preferred element in plan view and choosing either Wall or Roof from the Design - Design Extras - Accessories menu. The preferred type of profile or panel is then chosen in the settings window. The flashing object works with the object tool.

The products used may be listed in the ArchiCAD components lists (e.g. Lists - Components).

The Accessory add-on is required for automatic attachment of surface- and coating products onto walls and roofs. If you do not yet have it installed, please download it from the following Graphisoft site:
ArchiCAD 10
ArchiCAD 11
ArchiCAD 12

Wall elements may be exploded into individual panels. For this you'll need the M.A.D. Explode add-on. Just download and place the ObjExploder.apx file into your Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 12\ArchiCAD Add-Ons folder and restart your ArchiCAD.You can also install the add-on by selecting it in the Add-On Manager in the Options menu. Currently it is Windows only.

To explode the elements choose Options - M.A.D. Explode Object. The chosen element will be broken down into it's parts, that are then individually available for modification (,e.g. colour).
